Who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to take up so much of people’s time by creating a work schedule that is so unbelievably hard on families.  Why do we have to wait until we are too old and sore to have time to live? We spend three quarters of our lives busting ass at a job that only cares if we make them money and during that time frame we miss out on our children’s lives and on living for ourselves.  I just think it would be nice if there was a bit more time to figure out who we were before it is time to retire to the rocking chair.  Not that I am anywhere close to that, but it feels like time slips away so fast.  Last time I looked my children were learning how to walk and talk; now they have children of their own who are doing the same thing.  I am going to say to hell with how society wants things to be, and I am going to take time to learn about me and what it is that I want before it is too late.  I am going to learn how to live, not just survive.  People.... we cannot just walk through life like a herd of sheep.... Let's see how great we can really be!!!

Wow, if there were ever a perfect spot for a writer I believe I have just moved there! I have only been here a few days and already I want to live in front of my computer on my back porch in the sun and write like a crazy lady.  I am feeling more and more positive energy every day and am looking forward to freeing up the writers block I have had over the past year.  I know God put me in this place so I could use the gift of writing that he so graciously gave me.  I am open to any discussions! I have my latest novel back from the editor and now I am reviewing and making changes according to what I know is right.... I'll let you know when it's finished!  Just FYI... I love to write, so start a conversation, a debate or just feel free to ramble... Peach out!!
